Surah Al-Ma’idah (The Table Spread) is the fifth chapter of the Quran, revealed in Madinah. It is one of the final Surahs revealed, emphasizing laws, ethics, and covenants. The central themes include:

  • Laws regarding halal (lawful) and haram (forbidden), including dietary rules.

    • The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The most beloved to Allah is the one who upholds justice even against himself.” (Sunan Abu Dawood)
