The Reality of the Day of Judgment: “Al-Haqqah” refers to the inevitable reality, the ultimate truth of the resurrection.
Destruction of past nations: The fate of Thamud, ‘Ad, Pharaoh, and others who denied their prophets serves as a warning.
The weighing of deeds: On the Day of Judgment, the righteous will receive their record in their right hand (a sign of success), while the wicked will receive it in their left hand (a sign of punishment).

Affirms the reality of the Hereafter: It reminds believers that the Day of Judgment is inevitable, urging them to prepare.
Warning against arrogance and denial: Highlights how past civilizations were destroyed for rejecting divine guidance.
A test of true faith: The Surah emphasizes the ultimate accountability of each soul and the consequences of their actions.
Strengthens belief in the Hereafter and reminds of the consequences of one’s deeds.

The greatness of Surah Al-Haqqah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its people on the Day of Judgment.” (Sahih Muslim) – This includes Surah Al-Haqqah, which warns about that day.
The weight of good and bad deeds:
“Whoever’s scale of good deeds is heavy, he will be in a pleasant life, but whoever’s scale is light, his abode will be the Hellfire.” (Surah Al-Haqqah 69:19-37)
