Al-Ikhlas (الإخلاص)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

Verse 112:1
Transliteration:

Qul huwal laahu ahad

Translation:

SAY: "He is the One God:

Lam yalid wa lam yoolad

Translation:

"He begets not, and neither is He begotten;

Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad

"and there is nothing that could be compared with Him.

    • The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Ikhlas, it is as though they have recited one-third of the Qur’an.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
      This hadith emphasizes the immense reward and significance of reciting this Surah, as it encompasses a core aspect of the Qur’an’s message: the oneness of Allah.
