Al-Falaq (الفلق)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
Qul a'uzoo bi rabbil-falaq
SAY: "I seek refuge with the Sustainer of the rising dawn,
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Min sharri ma khalaq
"from the evil of aught that He has created,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
Wa min sharri ghasiqin iza waqab
"and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
Wa min sharrin-naffaa-thaati fil 'uqad
"and from the evil of all human beings bent on occult endeavours,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Wa min shar ri haasidin iza hasad
"and from the evil of the envious when he envies."

Seeking Protection from Harm: Surah Al-Falaq is a supplication to Allah seeking protection from all forms of harm, evil, and mischief. It specifically asks for refuge from the evil of external threats such as the harm caused by dark forces, jealousy, magic, and envy.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas, nothing will harm them.” (Sahih Muslim)
This Hadith emphasizes the protection offered by these Surahs from the dangers of jealousy, magic, and all forms of evil.
Spiritual Immunity:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) also said: “Recite Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas every morning and evening for protection from every calamity and evil.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)
This teaching indicates the importance of reciting these Surahs regularly for spiritual immunity against harm.
