بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ

Verse 106:1
Transliteration:

Li-ilaafi quraish

Translation:

SO THAT the Quraysh might remain secure,

Transliteration:

Elaafihim rihlatash shitaa-i wass saif

Translation:

secure in their winter and summer journeys,

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ

Verse 106:3
Transliteration:

Fal y'abudu rabba haazal-bait

Translation:

Let them, therefore, worship the Sustainer of this Temple;

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ

Verse 106:4
Transliteration:

Allazi at'amahum min ju'inw-wa-aamana hum min khawf

Translation:

who has given them food against hunger, and made them safe from danger.
